President
Larry Fullerton,
a past President of the Metro Denver Home Builders Association,
is one of the leading developers of for-sale multi-family buildings
in the region. A lawyer by training, he has enjoyed twenty eight
years of building and developing in the Denver area, including
pioneering days in LoDo and Curtis Park in the late 1970s, Genesee
in the 1980s, and as President of The Fullerton Company since
1993. His award winning company has developed successful loft/condominium
buildings in the Golden Triangle, Uptown, Congress Park, Stapleton
and Lowry neighborhoods of the Denver metropolitan area. He
has served three Denver mayors in appointed positions, including
four years full-time for former Mayor Frederico Peña.
Mr. Fullerton
knows how to take a project from dream to reality. In addition
to dealing with water, sewer and open space, downtown and infill
developers must contend with inclusionary zoning, powerful neighborhood
groups, official neighborhood plan and design guidelines, changing
zoning and overlay districts, multiple layers of planning reviews,
historic commissions, and political forces. The Fullerton Company
is well versed and successful in all these areas, and has a
track record of producing “beautiful living places in
the midst of city excitement.”
